The Scaife Family

I just love this family! Our friendship began when the Mrs. and I spent two fabulous years teaching 3rd grade together. They were also one of the first families I photographed. This year we tried out a new location and had a blast. Silly faces, beautiful smiles, and lots of love!
When I visit AZ I always look forward to spending time with you: cooking up delicious meals, having slumber parties, and staying up late catching up on life. I am so excited to be moving back so I can see you more often! You are an amazing family and I have loved being a part of your lives and watching your beautiful family grow.

This photo just cracks me up! I love how the little guy is peeking through his fingers.

The O'Connell Family

The O'Connell family is another amazing family that I was able to photograph during my visit to Arizona! The first time I met this family (back in the day) I was having a garage sale with a mutual friend and they were so sweet and stopped by with some awesome Sonic slushies for all of us!!! Now the Mrs. teaches in the classroom right next door to my old classroom! They were troopers getting up early and driving to this location and they looked amazing with their coordinated outfits! Such a beautiful family! Thank you for sharing your morning with me!

A little snooze before the session began to get ready to become baby model extraordinaire! She is so adorable! I love her sweet smile with those little teeth!

The Messner Family

Arizona is my home away from home and one of the reasons I consider it that (and cant wait to move back) is because of this family. Mrs. Messner and I started out our careers and friendship working together teaching first grade. We spent almost everyday together for 4 years and had a blast. I love when I come to visit because it's like I'm visiting family. We stay up late, eat lots of yummy homemade salsa (thank you Mr. Messner), watch fun movies, and always create more memories.
I have loved watching your family grow and have been honored to document it in pictures. Thank you for aways being so enthusiastic when I wanted to use your little cutie pie as my model and for being a constant encouragement to me and the start of this business. Enjoy!

"How many more pictures are you going to take of me today?"

The Thompson Family

The Thompson family is another Arizona family that is near and dear to my heart. Our friendship didn't start out in AZ, but all the way across the country in Pennsylvania, the summer after my senior year in high school. Adriane and I met through my sister and ended up working together at the pool snack shack at a local country club. My sister wanted us to meet since I was going to be attending the same college. We hung out, along with the Mr., throughout college and then my junior year we were roomies! I have seen you go from a couple, to husband and wife, to first time parents, and now to a family of 4! I was so excited to visit and meet sweetie pie #2 for the first time.
Not only did I get to spend some extra time with the Thompsons during the mini-session, but I was also able to use the Adriane's camera that she uses for her photography business. She is amazing and I now have camera envy. You can check out her work on her website: ART Photography. This family is yet another reason why I am SO excited to be moving back to Arizona. I can't wait!
