Hilton Head Island

 This was our little beach getaway of the summer and a chance for us to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday! We spent our days relaxing on the beach, playing in the water, riding bikes, and eating some amazing food!

These pictures are from some of our adventures during the weekend, but the last day was my favorite day for picture taking. We woke up early for the not so sunny sunrise and as we were about to head back to the room I spotted one of my favorite birds, a Blue Heron. He had decided to mooch off of a fisherman that morning, which allowed me to get so close with  my camera!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was hoping to see one of these guys during our trip! On our last day we went on a rollerblading adventure to where the alligators were rumored to be hanging out. Someone had seen this one and pointed us in the right direction.

The Lackie Family Kids

These kids are not only absolutely adorable, but they also happen to be my nieces and nephews! We had a fun photo shoot at the nature center when I was up visiting them in Minnesota. Today's post is a tribute to their cuteness and my love of black and white photos!



Welcome to the world Emma

 

Emma has arrived and she is absolutely beautiful! She was a wonderful little model and we had a fun filled morning doing what babies love to do most... eat, sleep, and look cute for the camera. :) Her momma made these fantastic accessories and had some fun poses in mind, like the love one below. The Cunningham Family

     It was a very toasty South Carolina evening when we took these pictures and we had a blast! We had a wildlife adventure watching the swans and turtles, catching frogs, smelling flowers and running around playing.

These two were so much fun to watch together. Jack is a fantastic big brother and can make Tate laugh like crazy. They have such a special bond!

Some of the biggest smiles and laughs were seen when these two were interacting!

 You have such a beautiful family! Thank you for allowing me to capture these moments for you.

The Davidson Family

           

       Another set of our dear friends are off on their next Air Force adventure. The Davidsons were the first people that I met here in South Carolina when I was dating my now husband. They were so warm and welcoming and opened up their home as a place for me to stay when I visited. Then they were a new family of four. Now they are a beautiful family of five! It has been such a blessing getting to know them during their time here. Best of luck on your next adventure and I'm keeping my fingers crossed we are stationed together in the future!
