Road Trip to the West: The Great Sand Dunes

Along our road trip we made many amazing stops! One of our stops was to see the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. They were incredible!!! They are located in the San Luis Valley between two mountain ranges: the San Juan Mountains and the Sangre de Cristos. Because of their location they are a part of a very unique ecosystem. We had so much fun learning more about this area. Baby Hannah: Brand New

When we received our orders and report date we realized that it would be a perfect time to take a road trip to visit our families and friends along the way. And most importantly… to meet our godchild Hannah.

This little one is so loved.  Hannah made her debut at the perfect time! (In the photo above she is holding onto my husband's finger.) We were able to meet her at the hospital just a few short hours after her first breath. Then we had a few more days to spend with her (and the rest of our amazing family) before heading to our final destination. 

After she came home from the hospital, we snuck in a quick little session to capture her sweet newborn face, fingers and toes! Next time we see her, she is going to look so different!
